This weekend I had a pretty packed schedule, on Saturday me and my mum went into town to run some errands and then on Sunday we took a little road trip down the Jurassic coast to find some camping and caravan sites for me and my friend to stay in in August.
During these days I wore two outfits I was pretty pleased with and thought I’d share them with you this week 🙂
Firstly this is the outfit I went into town in:
So I sported my trusty white Matalan shoes and my grey Monsoon Jeans, a basic white crop top from New Look I think, some kick ass jewellery and my new mint green blazer I got in the sale in New Look a few days ago 😀 Oh and a new earring for my cartilage piercing which I love! If you do want any prices or links then just drop me a comment, but I just couldn’t be bothered to list them all today, it’s so warm and I need food!
Then my second outfit…
This is my new reproduction vintage dress which I bought at an Airshow for £15 pounds, my shoes are New Look, £20 down to £10 so I was well chuffed with that! I kept it simple with jewellery and my hair and just popped on my beautiful Ray Bans 😀 I think my dog was wondering what I was doing….
The other thing I wanted to tell you guys this week was I have done quite a bit more on my novel recently, I’m on like 73,000 words now and I think I’m pretty near the end, just a lot of editing to do! But yeah, I’m pleased with that!
I hope you’ve enjoyed this post, please like and follow me and leave me a comment on what you’ve been wearing in this scorching hot weather! 😀
This week I have decided to show you three of my favourite skin care products 🙂 Skincare is a big thing if your a teenager and there are soooo many products claiming to do a million different things for your skin and sometimes its really just pot luck in finding products that help your skin. However, these three products are my personal favourites that I have found and that I use frequently, I believe really do help your skin, and they also smell and feel gorgeous too! Okay, lets get into it!
First up is this product:
I love this product so much and I’ve had it so long! This is a relatively new bottle (or whatever you would call it!) the last one I had was actually the old packaging! I really like this product because it’s three things in one, a wash, a scrub and a mask. I have used it as all three but especially like using it as a scrub and a mask. It explains how to use it for each thing on the back and also states the percentage of how many people from a group of 57 over a four week period agreed that: the wash removes excess sebum (89% agree), the scrub unclogs pores (88% agree) and the mask evens skin tone (91% agree). It also says that its for combination to oily skin, prone to imperfections.
If the stats aren’t enough to make you want to try out this fab product, you should just smell it! Oh my gosh, it’s one of my favourite smells! Its just so fresh and clean and almost like a clay smell, but a lush clay smell! It feels amazing on your skin too, the mask literally makes your skin feel so cleansed and awake, I just love it! It’s a really nice thick consistency too, definitely recommend this product!
This is quite a similar product, it’s got a very creamy texture but this one is specifically a ‘daily scrub’ to ‘help eliminate and prevent blackheads for up to three weeks’. I’ve had this a very long time, it’s almost empty which shows I’ve been really liking it. Again it feels nice on your skin and the smell is so lovely, its almost like a creamy citrus, but I am so bad at describing smells! You really just need to go and check it out for yourself.
Now I’m horrendous when it comes to daily scrubs, I have not used this everyday, so I can’t say if it really eliminates and prevents blackheads. I use it on my T zone, especially on my nose where I get blackheads and when I have used it a lot I have seen improvements. But again even if you don’t use this regularly I think it does really work, it feels good and smells good so gets a big tick from me, however I still have blackheads on my nose, but maybe if I did use it everyday they would go!
Finally we have this little tube! I got this in my stocking last Christmas. My mum told me it was to put on spots and like after spots to prevent scarring and help healing. It threw me a little at first as it doesn’t actually say anywhere that its for use on spots, like literally nowhere, but it does on the website. I’m pretty sure you can get these in bigger pots and stuff but they are quite expensive, hence why my mum got me the small tube, they also do loads of different ones for different things e.g all the apiclear ones are for spots. I actually went on their website as I didn’t really know a lot about them, but they do loads of things like cleansers and moisturisers. On their website they describe this product as ‘clear up after your skin with a targeted repairing gel that cools and calms. Quickly absorbed so you’re not left with an icky sticky residue. Just pop it on your spots.’ And this is exactly what I have been using it for, and I have found it really works, as I said, its a repairing gel so I also put it on after spots too, when they’re going down to help heal my skin and it feels really nice and cooling.
On their website this 25ml tube is £6.49 and I don’t think they do actually do this in a bigger size, because honestly this size is plenty! You only need a small blob for the odd spot, so it goes a long way. However I then went on Superdrugs website and its £3.99 at the moment, which is brilliant so I highly recommend going and grabbing some of this and checking out the other products in the range because they sound awesome!
So there you go, my three favy products (at the moment!) for skincare! You can find them all in Superdrug for under a £5 I believe, so go check them out! I’ll leave the links below if you wanna look at them further and leave me a comment on your favourite products or skincare regime! BYE! xxx

Hello! So look who’s actually stuck to her schedule for once in her life! It’s Wednesday and for this weeks post I thought I’d tell you a little about my holiday 🙂 This is going to be a relatively brief overview just so the post isn’t too long! So this year me and my parents went back to the Cote D’Azur in the south of France which we went to two years ago, but about a month later as I was just finishing school at that time. So we went for 10 days and stayed two nights in a hotel and then the rest of the week in the villa we’d stayed in two years ago. The hotel was right on the front, as in we could see the beach and sea, and it took about ten seconds to walk there. I can’t remember what that place was called, but it was right outside Nice.
We spent the remainder of our first day just chilling and sussing out the area, as we’d never stayed there before. We had a some pancakes from a local cafe and went for a walk around the port. On our second day we set off for Monaco! One of my favourite places in the Cote D’ Azur 🙂 we stopped off for some lunch on the way over amazing views!
We arrived at Monaco! It was really warm that day and you could feel it! You aren’t doing Monaco right if you don’t go to at least look at the grand Casino and all the stupidly expensive shops nearby in Monte Carlo! People watching is just so fun here, watching people show up in their flashy/expensive cars and either go into the casino itself or the Hotel de Paris next door.
After a little while in Monaco we headed home, back to our hotel! The next day we went to my favourite place in the Cote D’ Azur, Cannes. Home of the film festival, it’s got everything, shops (ranging from cheap, to extremely expensive!), beaches, yachts, watersports and clubs. We had a little walk round that day, but we did go back again for a beach day but I thought I would just put a selection of the Cannes photos all together 🙂 We then went to the villa to get settled in, the villa we stayed in is in Grasse. 🙂
Other places we went also included Antibes for a beach day and a little bit of shoppy time! The old town was full of cute little streets and amazing ice cream shops! We went out for dinner in Juan les pins just round the corner, which would have been lovely if I hadn’t started to feel really ill during the meal 😦
The next day I felt a lot better, and we took the day to go off and explore the Hinterland which is like the amazingly dramatic mountains at the back of the Cote D’ Azur. Last time we were there we went to the simply stunning Grand Canyon du Verdon, this time we decided to just head towards some villages and see what we find!
The next day we set off towards St. Tropez but we never actually made it as the weather had taken a bit of a turn for the worst in that direction (we had a horrendous storm in Grasse the night before too!) so we started to head back to Cannes!
We went back and just sat on the beach for a while, the last day we went shopping in Cannes and had a beach day which was really nice and relaxing and we finally got to go in the sea!! It was lush by the way! My photographing kind of petered out then as I was getting tired and we had to pack and get to the airport, I also did more filming than take photographs as I wanted to make a short film on it, but that’s about it anyway!
We were really worried about getting back home actually as there was a strike by the air traffic controllers which meant a lot of flights were cancelled, but luckily ours wasn’t, it was a little late though!
So I hope you’ve enjoyed reading (briefly!) about our adventures in the Cote D’Azur this summer, it was a really nice holiday and I would recommend this place to anyone, it got something for all!
